Ps3 Game That Will Last Me A Long Long Time |

I rescently bought a PS3 and one game, Kill Zone 2.
In two weeks I'm going for surgery and I will be immobile, at home, for three weeks. I'd appreciate some tips on games that last. I browsed the game catalogue but most of the RPG's are manga style, which isn't really my style. I've played Oblivion quite a bit on the 360 and if there's somethig like that on the PS3 it's a candidate. Otherwise I enjoy even more games where you form a party of wizards, monks and warriors and head out to solve a quest. I couldn't find one on the PS2 though. Tips please or I might bore to death during my sick leave!
