Posted by: leonard478 Jun 7 2012, 02:00 AM

greetings my wonderful fellow guitarists!
so ive been playing for about 6 years now! heading to music school next year, and lets just say..

ive neglected learning full songs!. ofcourse i learned riffs, intros, solos, to random songs, but here im saying

I will learn how to play the classics from start to finish, and will record them from start to finish with the track! note for note. (by ear of course) biggrin.gif

Starting with
Aerosmith - Dream on

Already learned : cause we've ended as lovers - jeff beck.

And by classics i mean pretty much anything !, stevie ray vaughan classics, hendrix classics, aerosmith, pink floyd, hell even satriani classics. wish me luck and my video links will be posted here as soon as i get my recording stuff going! Oh and feel free to recommend any classics

-Leonard

Wow man! Congrats wink.gif nice mission you embarked yourself onto. I would love to see your rendition of Jeff Beck's tune. I wanted to share a video of a friend of mine playing it live, for inspiration:

The names you mentioned are a good place to start..and let's not forget about Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath or Deep Purple wink.gif

Sounds good, Leonard, looking forward to it ! As long as you're playing stuff you enjoy though, always hold onto that smile.gif
