GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ City Link Uk

Posted by: OrganisedConfusion Jan 14 2008, 09:21 PM

I ordered a toneport of GAK and it said it would be delivered today and the City Link track order says it has been delivered at 07.20am this morning and says it has been signed for. I was away but my house mates were in and they didn't sign for anything but it says it was successfully delivered with signature. So I have no parcel and no clue where it will be. Have City Link ever delivered a parcel to anybody when they haven't been in and is it delivered to a neighbour maybe or what?

It pisses me off as I hate being messed around.

I checked one neighbour and they don't have it but other side has no lights on so they are probably asleep as they have young children so I will leave it till tomorrow. I wish they'd leave you a note to say who it has been delivered to because no one at the address it was supposed to be delivered to has signed for it. Same thing happened when my guitar was being delivered and it got sent to 4 houses down and fortunately they brought it round. Parcel companies mad.gif

I'm gonna ask my neighbour the other side tomorrow and leave it till the end of the day to see if anyone brings it round. Phone City Link before it shuts at 7pm and get onto gak on Wednesday if I hear nothing. I was really looking forward to recording some stuff also sad.gif

I'm going now to torch the ****ing place down. They left my parcel in a ****ing alley according to them on the phone which wasn't even our alley and of course it isn't there anymore as its the centre of Nottingham and so they are a bunch of ****ers. They basically left it in the street where people walk down and that is SAFE. So I'm off there now and I couldn't give a **** about the consequences.

They didn't even leave us a note to say where they had left it.

I'm certainly not losing 131 pound lightly. I worked hard for that money

God I'm angry with them. I'm not stupid enough to burn the place as I have a life but its really made me miserable today. It was signed for by nobody so he left the parcel in the street. Turns out on the phone to him that he didn't even get the right house. So he left it in an alley by somebody elses house which is a pathway to 8 other houses. Plus leaving a parcel with electronic components outdoors in the rain?

So I'm on the phone to GAK tomoz and hopefully they can sort it out and send me another one. But its wasting my time and I want to improve on guitar and can't without taking part in things on here sad.gif
