Hello, nice guitar forum here so let me introduce myself. I'm from Maryland, USA and I'm a computer technician. I'm a big guitar nut and my favorite guitarist is Yngwie Malmsteen. I've been running a fan tribute website since 1998 called Yngwie Malmsteen 100% at http://yngwie100.home.comcast.net/ and I'm also one of the official Yngwie Malmsteen forum moderators at his http://yngwie.org/ fan club website.

When I started out in the late 70's/early 80's, my first guitar influence was Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin. So what I like overall is a mix of classic rock to heavy metal to neoclassicial rock. I've been looking for a place like this to help improve how I play guitar. I'm bored of just being a tab-monkey all these years and now I want to learn finally how to play guitar instead of just copying someone else note for note if that makes sense. It is time to take my guitar influences and create a hybrid original style.

Well anyway nice to be here and hope to contribute a little as I learn more from everyone here!
