Hey guys, I've been playing for a while and have a large collection of pedals. What pedal board should I get?
I was thinking: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/SKB...oard?sku=544735 but it's real expensive. Any cheap ideas guys? Thanks, Jonathan |

I dont know, it seams little heavy, and a bit pricey. Check out the Boss BCB60, and see if this one is heavier. If it is DON`T buy it. Also check if your pedals need more than 100mA of power. If they do, then this is not a good choise.

If it's still on the board, so to speak, check out these as well:
Stonecastle Pedalboards That's what I'm planning to buy, but I'll wait to febuary since there are new modells out then with less weight and a little cheaper. -------------------- __________________________________________

I prefer customized pedal boards and power supply,
you never know, measures, voltage etc. Plus it's cheaper I guess. -------------------- Youtube

Here's mine,a friend made it for me,I payed about 80 euros for it.
And custom power supply as well,20 euros. It's messy with cables atm, ready for closing the case And here's prettier picture of same pedalboard/case,no power supply here. This post has been edited by Muris: Jan 25 2008, 01:33 AM -------------------- Youtube

I have never used single pedals or a pedal board , I have only used multi fx pedals , isn't it easier to have one multifx pedal where you can program your effects? I mean it for live purposes too. Sorry if its a silly question. It's easier for sure, less cables etc. But it's matter of tone and what player prefers. -------------------- Youtube

Try the Boss BCB60 if its not too small. Good pedalboard for small money. You can check out the review here.

So you can have the tone of your pandora PX4, but improved. When zou record in the studio do you use the pedal board , or how do u manage zour effects? And how do u to achieve the same tone playing live? For gigs I use pedal board above and gear below For recording, well it depends,if I record line(no mic) I use only bottom unit from rack Roctron Prophesy, (it'll soon be replaced by Triaxis and G-Force) and maybe volume pedal, wah, compressor and whammy. No need for midi controler. And if I record miced then I use whole gear from pic above and some pedals, depends again. -------------------- Youtube
