GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ I'm A Cheese Fan

Posted by: Gabriel Leopardi Jul 11 2012, 04:37 PM

Hello guys, I'm having some tea with cookies and cheese and I was thinking that everything that I ate is usually combined with any type of cheese...

I didn't know that there were so many types: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cheeses

Do you like cheese? What's your favourite type?

Cheddar is one of my favourite...

I love an extra mature cheddar that is so strong it really hits the back of your throat.

Smoked cheeses are lovely too

Well, I don't cook with really good cheeses, unfortunately. I like to Feel Like A Sir and consume them like a proper stuck-up gent. laugh.gif

I suppose I could try some out, though.

How do you eat the different kinds of cheese ?? We only have Paneer, or Cottage Cheese which we use directly in cooking, and there are thousands of dishes made of it biggrin.gif

The other ways we consume cheese, is, in sandwiches or burger(processed cheese slices), or on pizza(mozzarella, but I doubt if it really is mozzarella).

Well, it's all about the culinary culture of the country you live in smile.gif In Europe, we have lots of cheese types while in India for instance there are other foods with a huge variety of sorts (here's where you can give me examples, as I am only using logic to state this conclusion tongue.gif)

But anyway, when you'll be visiting Europe, you can taste the wonderful cheesiness going on around here biggrin.gif

Just received a couple of cooking books for my birthday and I also got some Indian recipe book biggrin.gif Can't wait to taste the wonderful dishes in there!
