Sometimes I need two headphones, or to change to speakers, or some other options, and this headphone preamp is serving me nicely for that for some time now. If you're looking for way to distribute your sound from the audio card, look no further, as this device can help:
You can patch two sources in, one main and one aux, main signal is going through balanced connectors out of the device for other devices (very useful), and you can choose sources, and mix them in the headphones. For anybody running a small studio, this is a nice and cheap solution.
mmm I see what this does. Really helpful. I can a lot of uses to this. Thanks Ivan.
Great piece of equipment! I need one of this for my studio.
i got something similar but way smaller and old, i was looking to upgrade so thanks for this man, will check it out!
Before this I had similar device from Behringer, AMP800. It's smaller, plastic and not such a great quality, this is really professional, and not very expensive.
Great info, thanks for share Ajvan !
It's a small world I've got this same unit in my rack. It's not expensive, sounds great, rack mounts, flexible routing, almost bullet proof. Just a great unit. I've backed over mine with my car and it still works. All steel contsruction RAWKS.
Great call Ivan! I could not agree more. You can pick one of these up used really cheap and they are so handy when you need to give a headphone mix to a few folks during tracking session or just letting others listen in. Or heck, having different headphones just to see how a mix translates. Just leave them plugged in.
Todd
Yeah, it's very important for multiple listening.
