EDIT: btw, back on topic: do you have a straight edge (a ruler or such) that you can test the fret levels with? That could confirm/exclude the fret heights being part of the dead note problem.

I will hand the guitar in to the pros, but if I get another problem, I shall try the fret leveling method... smile.gif
