I recently found myself more and more often to listen to this kind of music. Bocelli is my favorite singer. His timbre is beautiful and I can listen to it all day long !!!

Enjoy smile.gif

Love opera - my favourite is probably Britten's The Turn of the Screw but I'm also fond of Puccini's La Boheme. Favourite singers - Willlard White and Dawn Upshaw.

ALthough I don't actively listen to it, I definitely appreciate it. One of the things I'd like to do in my lifetime is go and see a live opera.

Bocelli is a fantastic singer.

I only know parts of the really obvious operas.. Nessun Dorma, La Traviata..

Time to say Goodbye sung by a great soprano is always good smile.gif

I must admit - no. The only time I was exposed to it was when I played Grand Theft Auto game as a kid smile.gif
I should try to attend some of it live one day.

I attended an opera once (Ero the Joker by Jakov Gotovac) and was bored to death. I actually managed to fall asleep during the opera a few times because I was really tired that day. It was really awkward because my friend bought the tickets and I hope he didn't notice ohmy.gif

I appreciate opera as a form of art, but I'm not that into it. I can't understand what they are singing and it's too all over the place, but maybe I should have checked out the famous operas before making my judgement, who knows?

I've seen a couple live in my school days in The Royal Opera House in London, at the time I probably didn't appreciate them, now... who knows, I wouldn't actively seek one out.
