Toneport Question

Hey everybody, I'm the proud new owner of the Toneport UX2. I find the distortion effects a bit lacking with the supplied model packs and was wondering if I can plug an overdrive pedal into the toneport input or into one of those footswitch inputs. The box did not come with a manual and line6 doesn't' seem to have a manual specifically for the hardware to show the different types of configuration, only for the software which does not help me in this instance. Basically I would like to have a wah and o/d or distortion pedal in front of the toneport but don't want to break it dry.gif
