After reading thefireball's recent post, Cosmin made a comment:
"And the touch ... You only get that from your hands. Regardless of what gear you have - I think this is a major plus in your overall skill as a musician/ guitarist! " Then I was watching Steve Lukather (I'm a huge Lukather fan  ) on Youtube & found this. At 1:47 Steve makes this quote:"Everybody's touch & tone is very unique, I mean, the same guy can play the same guitar through the same amp & play the same lick & it would not sound the same." and "The guitar is a very very expressive instrument." --------------------  |

This is a very inspiring video! Can't agree more with that quote by Lukather. It would be cool if famous guitar players decide to do the experiment to play the same thing, with the same guitar and amp to let everybody compare the results. Thanks for sharing.
