Yea it was bound to come up for me when I start looking for different bands to listen to. So lets get down to it shall we.

I'm looking for bands similar to Manowar. Really ballsy heavy metal. Vainglory, and Priest aside any other bands I should look up?

Post away! smile.gif

Glad you like Vainglory, they are an incredible band.

Anyway, i would have to recommend Dream Evil as one, heavy Manowar influence, "Cheesy" at times but still an awesome band. Primal Fear is another band that has many aspects of Priest and Manowar and just in your face kinda approach.

Dream Evil - Children Of The Night
Dream Evil - Fire! Battle! In Metal!

Primal Fear - Metal Is Forever!
Primal Fear - Armageddon

They are also very good and a bit like manowar:)

And as a special recommendation you can listen to Edguy very incredible band from Germany:)

Thanks for the bands. I personally liked Falconer, Primal Fear, and Dream Evil. Accept sounds pretty cool too.

Thanks everyone.

QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.
