Allright, this is a song that I've been working on since yesterday.
It's almost finished, I need to re-record all the rythm-guitars and make a few adjustments before it's a hit (yeah right!)

I recorded this at Trond Volds place since that is where I usually hang out on friday and some saturday nights

He was in such a happy mood as well so I let him do the last solo and some happying during the verse (thanks, good job)

Oh, and thanks to Organised Confusion for the name; Melody Machine (I'm still proud you called me that!)

It's so punk! the chorus reminds me of a green day song, forgot it's name though, something with Basket (Am I just paranoid, or something something), except for trond's solo which was pure rocky happiness

Yeah it's a mixture of some very happy Seigmen (a norwegian band) and Green Day (Basket Case) with some audiopaal thrown in there as well Yeah, Tronds solo was very good.. They usually are

But it was also nice to experience the day that Trond actually spend more time recording a solo than me and even tell me to do some of it, 'cause he couldn't get it right I never thought I'd live to see that day, he's so damn good

This song is very "Pop". But I like it. Add some agressive but melodic solos or riffts in somewhere would spice it up even more. Good one

I'll re-record all the rythm guitar, so I'll try out different styles there..
I might go for a more overdriven sound, but I'll have to try and see what works

Nope, it just didnt go my way, i found the one i wanted but when i came home and was ready to buy it was gone. There will be others eventually but they are definately not so easy to get a grib on-

Hey Audiopaal... nice song... It makes me happy. It sounds a lot like Nerf Herder kind of songs. But more solo into it! When I've heard this song I started making a happy song myself. I already got the riff, still strugling with the drums... but when ready it will be posted ofcourse!

Summer is coming, I thinks this is a good introduction to it!
