Hey guys,

I have been playing Fives for almost a year now and have just now felt like I could record live over it. This is my attempt, tell me what you think, and what I could have done better!

Thanks a lot!

Rob

Wow, the first thing that struck when you started the lead is awesome tone and vibrato. You really control that basic riff al the way, actually you controll the whole song prety nicely, which means you've got your technique down man smile.gif I expect this song to be quite hard to cover... the part of the song with the improvised feeling must be a pain to 'remember' tongue.gif I always have a hard time with that. Or did you improvise that part yourself? that'd rock even more, since I didn't notice it wasn't Guthrie wink.gif

Very nice!!!!

Thanks a lot for all the complements! It means a lot. Yes actually I improvised during the part in the middle. I am much too lazy to try and learn all the stuff Guthrie does on the album version tongue.gif , and he always plays his songs differently on stage. I basically switched between A minor pent. and F minor pent. back and forth... picked it up from Jack Thammarat's video!
