I paid 1360 euros.

It was all new not second-hand.

It's an NEW OLD STOCK which tho means its an older guitar that has never been sold.

It's from the USA Corona Plant, made in 1997 or 1998 so it's fairly old.... vintage...? Not yet I think.

A USA FENDER ROADHOUSE 1997/98

Rosewood neck and Texas Special pickups.
Shoreline gold glossy finish and pearloid scratchplate.

Could anyone... "guess" the price for these now?

And when is a guitar considerd vintage?

Thanks!

I had a one from 2000 signed and got it signed by zakk wylde and sold it for 850 american dollars. While I bought it from guitar center for 900 a year back. So that is about 650 euros, But how much does a regular american strat go for in europe?

Vintage would be 1970s and later(I'm guessing). 10-11 years is not very old at all for a guitar really. (atleast not vintage old).

price is probably a lot less now...it isnt vintage, it isnt anything special (no offense) there is no reason for the price to go up. infact....ive never heard of the price of guitar going up that was made from the 1980's up...unless it was extremely rare or unique for some reason.

Ibanez "golden" year guitars from the 80's and 90's are extremely sought after, but the prices only go down.

so if you wanted to wait for the price to go up, you got a long time to wait wink.gif

I can only hope that my Flying V will increase in value...

It's a 84 reissue from 2007, one of the more sought after ''Gibson Guitar of the Week'' series. Only 300 of them were made and I think I am the only one in Germany who has one (I got mine from Canada huh.gif )

Roadhouse USA is a part of an Standard series, they just hotrodded the model with Texas Specials. Since it is part of Standard series, it is not considered a collectible, it doesn't have any unique features.
Vintage collectible pieces are usually the ones dated behind the CBS era. Back in those days there was only one line of Strat guitars. Their price is considerably bigger then younger models. Modern collectable Strat are usually anniversary editions and custom shop models. Those are worth buying and keeping in mint condition cause the price will probably get bigger over the years.
