Hi guys, I've been thinking of an idea where I combine the styles of 2 guitar players into one lesson. For example, Van Halen meets Malmsteen or something like that.

I wanted to ask if you had any shredder combinations that you wanted to see me create ?

I'm always open to suggestions of new players I haven't covered yet !

If it is like a dialog between to guitarist i wanna hear Malmsteen talking with Zakk wylde... ( it's like a french king talking with a farmer)
Or something like old vs new.....ummm not shred vs shred... bb king vs dimebag Darrell or Clapton vs jeff loomis jejeje
Marty friedman vs gary moore...
The same song with 2 very different approaches.

see you!

Thanks for the ideas !

I'm not sure I'll tackle blues guitarists as it's not my way of playing.. but the Wylde V Malmsteen one is very interesting biggrin.gif

I personally would like to see any of these combos covered! smile.gif

Vivian Cambell meets Vinnie Moore
Hank Shermann meets Andy LaRoque
Blackmore meets Iommi
Glen Tipton meets Adrian Smith

I've been trying to get down your Vai/Satch combo lesson and George Lynch style.

Lil' Wayne meets Kerry King.......

.......*excuses self from room*

In all seriousness, here's a few that come to mind:

EVH meets Randy Rhoads
Kirk Hammett and Marty Friedman
John Petrucci meets Zakk Wylde

Hi Ben!
I was in the beach this morning with my wife and daughters listening to Megadeht, "rust in peace" album, in my headphones jejeje and i was thinking about the good work that Marty does with Megadeth but.... would have happened if Jason becker was the chosen one....
This is my suggestion:
Jason with Megadeth style backing track and Marty with jason becker style baking track.
it could also be only the first jason with megadeath.
cheers!

pd: Your solo album still awesome cool.gif

Al DiMeola meets Ron Jarzombek (DiMeola style soloing over Jarzombek style 12 tone circle riffs would be very cool).
Ronnie LeTekro meets Tony Iommi
Akira Takasaki meets JImmy Herring

or you could mix and match any of the above.
