I'm trying to build a pedalboard of pro-quality with the following effects:
Sansamp (for distorsion)
Danelectro Overdrive
Boss OD-20, distorsion
Dunlop Wah
Ernie Ball volume pedal
BOSS DD-2, delay
and eventually a BOSS digital reverb.

This would be routed with an A/B switch to either my Fender Amp or Marshall.
I also have a TC G-major (which I found out steals the tone from the guitar, when putting it before the preamps)
I guess I have to put it in a effect-loop after the preamp.

The major question here is in which order the effects should be connected.
Right now I use them before the preamp since the Marshall doesn't have an effect loop.

Any suggestions guys?

Volume pedal should go first IF you wanna work on different guitar output,
if you wanna adjust overall level that goes to amp
then you should put it at the end of chain tho.
Then goes Wah, dists and ODs, delay and reverb.
Ofc delay and reverb would work best if you put them in loop,
same goes for G Major you mentioned
since that kind of effects is usually applied after preamp section.
That would be most common routing but you can experiment
a little as well to get more from your setup,
there are some "rules" for routing but your ear is the judge here. wink.gif
