GMC Forum _ Introduce Yourself ! _ Hi From Antwerp...

Posted by: kenneth Jan 5 2009, 10:45 PM

Hi all!

My name's Kenneth, I am from Barcelona but I moved to Belgium one year ago...

I learned to play Acoustic Guitar by my own during some years, and I felt a little bit tired about listening always the same sound... I feel stopped somewhere... And I really tried to improve.

I bought an electric guitar and my motivation has changed completly. After all these years thinking that spanish or acoustic guitar was the right thing to me, I realize that I needed the electric guitar feeeling.

For years I never passed from doing the basic chords. I saw your webside and I felt that maybe is the way to start to understand some technical things and informations, to be able to progress, play with more people, learn scales, play over some others melody, etc.

I wish I will find the wisdom to understand, the memory to retain and the strength and time to practice a lot!

Thanks and HELLO,

Kenneth

Hello, welcome to the site, maybe you just needed a change of sound, you can get tired of a particular sound, even with the electric, but using effects, eq, overall the tone inspires you differently.

Glad you found your way here, have fun
