So I see at the moment that there are 37 of you potential members viewing this forum, so I thought I would start this thread to let members tell you how great this site is and what they have got out of it. I know you can't post and can't ask questions so that's another reason for the thread. So I'll start.

I joined GMC about 6 mo ago as a dertermined beginner. Kris' Freelicks site brought me here after learning a few riffs and solo's there. I can honestly say that this site has lessons from beginner to advanced in every technique and style you can imagine. The instructors are awesome and always answer questions you mite have. The forum is also a great help with anything from off topic to recording to talking about your favorite band or artist.

At this point, I have went from knowing a few power chords to recording some of my own stuff ( not to say that it's the best, but I'm on my way ) and owe it all to the people here.

So what are you waiting for? $10 a month, blink.gif thats a quarter a day to gain knowledge from great guitarists from around the world! I hope some other members will let you know what this great community has done for them!

You Ready!

Hope you guys join soon,
Steve

I'm sure half of the guests are just members too lazy to log in. I usually don't log in untill I have something to post, and then I stay logged in.

But to the others, hello!

No. 1 reason to join up = Forums. Everyone here is really helpful and in most cases extremely skilled. You can ask a question about anything and be guaranteed at least 3 helpful answers within a few hours, or in some cases minutes/seconds. It has been known for people to reply to questions before the question has even been asked... ph34r.gif

Bad choice in Avatar, you could have had a V8. Here is T'Pol showing off some of her acting skills.

Actually, my favorite of all series, but largely unappreciated. Not just because Scott Bakula attended KU, and the fact that Jolene Blalock was like, the best looking woman on the planet. It is actually quite good, acting and stories. And one of 2 my favorite all time theme songs (the other is Joan Hickson's Miss Marple).

Regarding guests, GO AWAY. Fewer people that can say they are better than me at guitar, the better!

edit: put the wrong theme, like anybody cares, but I liked the one from season 1 and 2 better than 3 and 4. Less beat, more soulful. But like them both.
