I like your style alot. It's melodic, tasteful and with about the right amount of restriction. Great vibrato too smile.gif
There's some bugs here and there, but thats minor problems. Keep up the practicing and i'm sure your going to turn into an absolutely kickass player.

One thing bugged me though, you should have recorded with a higher framerate wink.gif

2nd video was the best one i think

True dat bro. smile.gif. I mean thanks alot tongue.gif, you're oppinon means alot to me comming from a song writer like you.

Yeah I have trouble recording long improvs but i'm getting better.

Yeah I am using a webcam.. doesnt allow me alot of freedom.. Just need to do it in the day light cause it doesnt pick up light very well.

tj

Agree'd with second being better. Too bad audio quality was a bit messy.

Tim, over all pretty good but not your best work. I love your playing and conviction smile.gif . I would rather hear better quality audio and have less video wink.gif .

I really liked the way you incorporated longer melodic runs with your solo this time before you hit your classic vibrato with your phrases (or endings). That is the way to go IMHO. It (expressed yourself) got your message across very nice! smile.gif

Looked like you needed some sleep at the end of your second take.

Rock on!!

I think it's in Bminor/Dmajor penatontic.

Great improvisations Tjchep, I really like your style of soloing. Well done! biggrin.gif

EDIT: It's in Eminor actually, sorry. Thanks UncleSkillet. smile.gif

It is in E minor mostly. Using Em scale, E Pentatonic and also a little E Harmonic minor here and there works nice. This advise came from Mirus in another post.

Just thought I would share it with you. Played over it a few times and it is a great track that makes you think about your phrasing.

Have fun. smile.gif

Nice playing Tchjep! Are these improvisations realy first time recordings? Or do you write/practice them a couple of times first?

Very nice TJ, nice vibrato and whammy use. COuple of mistakes here and there but all in all well. SOund is not to good, little scooped and muddy, but smooth tho. Great scale using and melody building. You are going out of the regular patterns which is great.
