Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Nice take!, i live it overall, but you need to work on some things now:

First the timing could be better, you need to play the backing track louder maybe, you are nailing the notes, but you your playing feels somehow anxious and rushed over the slow bluesy tempo.

Second, your tone could be better, cleaner for the first part and more distorted for the second part, look what piotr is making on the original lesson, he's using the neck pickup for the first part with the volume like at 40-60% and then for the second part he's just toggling the switch and going to the bridge with the volume all the way up!

I give you a solid 8, i feel like you are about to nail it totally, and i don't think it is an easy lesson to play, a lot of emotion going on!

your bendings are spot on!

I would agree with Adrian about the timing issue, just be more conscious of that

Very good take on a hard lesson! Work a little bit on the timing as you are playing a little in front and rushing - and track has a layed back feeling. Also sound could be better, this one is too distorted and thin. Very good take overall, since this lesson is hard to master (because of all the expression and feeling tricks)...

Adrian said it all!

What I'd add is to even out the vibratos. Loosen it up a bit, and even it out.
