hi GMC:)
i saw Muris new guitar that he won in London this weekend and it were extremely beautiful!!
i just wondered how much a guitar like that would cost because if it doesn't cost to much i might buy one. hopefully some of you will be able to answer my question.

I saw you're from Denmark and switched the german site Thomann into danish for you. You can order the guitar there although it's a german company they ship to nearly every country in europe.

its also cool but i dont want to spend that much money on a guitar

Even my Ibanez PGM was £800 which cleaned out my bank account

I think this one is about £ 1800- 2000 here in UK,really tooo expensive imho

hvis du ikke er parat til at ofre 20000 kr.(hvilket jeg sagtens forstår), kan du helt sikkert få en god pris på en
anden og næsten ligeså lækker Ibanez i musikhuset aage jensen. check www.aage.dk
Og ellers er der næsten altid gode brugte guitarer på dba.dk - prøv lykken!

It's cheaper in the US. Problem is thay don't ship it overseas. But if you have a connection in the US to who's address you could order it and them have him or her pack and send it to you that would be a good deal.

You can get them for about £1,400 if you shop around. Still a lot of money though

That is alot of money, here in the States its only 2,199.90 dollars which is 1,129.94 pounds.

You can get a Jem in the US for over 2000 dollars (sometimes less, I've seen it for 1700), and there are shops that ship internationally.
You should check the customs situation in your country. In Spain, where I used to live you have to pay some 5 or 6% plus vat (other 16%). Thats over 22% of customs. You can have the guitar delivered to your door in 4 days.
So it might be worth buying one in US

hey since that site does'nt ship to the u.s. does anyone know of a site where i can buy an Ibanez JEM555WH or just a site with the same kind of selection? cuz a bunch of the guitars i saw on there are'nt on any of the sites i've seen here in america.

I really like Muris's new guitar, it is really cool, but all must keep in mind that it is the player, not the guitar who comes in first row, you can have all the guitars in the world, and not posses any skill, or own a wallmart guitar to 10 bucks and play like a god. Remember to keep that in mind when you see those expensive guitars, then go home and practice some more!
I must admit that I do also love expensive guitars, that JEM is a masterpiece o.O

JEMs are masterpieces indeed. However, IMO, you pay extra for 3 things: being a signature model, being considered darn beautiful, being a successful selling model.

I really don't like JEM's like playing guitars, but they are a masterpiece work of art, and it should fit nicely on some wall, specially with Vai's signature

The JEM is a great guitar, but I really like Muris's Custom the most
