GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ New Guitar :)

After going to Nicelback concert(which was great) and seeing a lot of live bands in Dubai

I baught the first guitar I saw when I came back home which wasn't very cheap lol

Anyways I don't know anything about the guitar except that it's made in 2009

What pickups are those and do I need batteries for them, and where do i put the batteries ?

That's a Fender American Deluxe Strat Ash.

It's a sweet guitar, it has samarium cobalt noiseless pups, so you don't need batteries smile.gif

Thanks Fran, It's my first time putting my hand on a great guitar so I couldn't let it down lol

Better edit the word out of your first post!
We have some posting rules against cursewords (stupid and waaay to strict imho)

However, this is a very nice guitar to start with! Not many people start playing on a professional instrument!

It's actually my second guitar, my ibanez rg 350 bridge broke a few days ago.

Indeed we do have posting guidelines which include a section on appropriate language Zakk.

This has been discussed before but to summarise GMC's position on this:

The GMC forum is viewed as being a family friendly environment and as such the contents of posts should be appropriate for such a forum. Swearing is therefore not permissible.

Sweet guitar, if ever i am allowed to buy a new guitar it will definately be a stratocaster that colour (and yes colour matters!:) ) and an sg and an explorer and a flying v and a hummingbird etc etc..

Guess I have too buy my better half something good for Valentines day too lure her in to letting me buy guitars laugh.gif
