Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Cool - I felt you were putting your heart into this one and your take is enjoyable. The most obvious thing to comment on are the faster runs where you are not in control, and missing notes. However it seems you have prioritised tone and vibrato which I think is a very clever move - if you had done it the other way around I don't think i would have enjoyed the take. Well done!

You get a 7 from me.

Hi Fabiopa!

This lesson is a great choice since it covers many techniques at once and let's us see which are the things that need work. I can say that there are many techniques that need work, but that the overall sounds good. I can notice that you have a good sense of rhythm and pitch which are the most fundamental things.

On the other hand techniques as vibrato, bending, alternate picking, sweep picking and tapping could be better. So here I'd like to share some recommended lessons for each one. You not only need to practice exercises, you need to be sure to check some basic info about each note in order to make your movement right and effective for the technique.

Bending: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...ending-Workout/

Vibrato: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...ibrato-Workout/

Alternate Picking: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Altern...Picking-Basics/

Sweep Picking: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Masters-of-Sweeping/

Tapping: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...atonic-tapping/

That's all. Feel free to write me for assistance or anything else.

Keep on the hard work!

Hey there!

First of all your general performance is pleasant and for a musical point of view, quite descent.

Now from a guitar player perspective and a technical judgment there are things to fix and some are more, some less ear-catching.

As Gabriel pointed, each of playing techniqes requires some tweaking but that's why you're here at gmc right ?smile.gif And no one expects this to be perfect within few weeks smile.gif

For me personally, focusing on vibrato would be most visible fix in your overall playing. Vibrato is like in use for one per two notes in most of our playing. Your vibrato looks like you don't get the vibrato mechanics perfectly yet. You do shake your fingers but tonal result is not what we would expect. I also belive you don't feel comfortable with it yet. I would suggest to review lesson that are vibrato-focused and cointain some additional explenations on this technique, aside from playing examples on their own. One of such a lessons has been pointed by Gabriel. You should give your self some detailed analysis of how exactly left hand behaves while vibrating notes. Tweaking this would make most of notes in this takes sound really nice and it would boost the performance a looooooooot! smile.gif
