BB King would play these high notes and quickly slide out of them. To get that effect, you'll need to be more confident with your hand movements.. just give it a bit more attitude and trust it to do its job ! Vibrato is excellent, but you need to work with it a bit more to polish it up on slower tempos. But you are getting there. You realized that for this type of vibrato thumb on the back is hardly needed at all. You do a complete motion from rotating the forearm + little wrist forward/backward movement. All in all, well done, just need a bit more confidence. You tried a lot to do it properly, and it works. leave it some time to settle, and play it completely relaxed.
