Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: BB King Style Blues Licks by Ivan Milenkovic

Hi there :) Here's the next one. Until I get at least an overall 9 grade :P I love these lessons anyway. Any improvements in the vibrato ?

Hey Alex! The take has potential and it would be super if you would focus a little more on the bends! What i mean by that, is that they sometime sound unsure regarding the pitch. Remember what we discussed over at the v-chat 3 days ago - get the pitch right first things first!

Prett good, although I would try and add more 'snap' to some of those notes. BB King would play these high notes and quickly slide out of them. To get that effect, you'll need to be more confident with your hand movements.. just give it a bit more attitude and trust it to do its job ! cool.gif

Yes, this is very very good. Vibrato is excellent, but you need to work with it a bit more to polish it up on slower tempos. But you are getting there. You realized that for this type of vibrato thumb on the back is hardly needed at all. You do a complete motion from rotating the forearm + little wrist forward/backward movement.

All in all, well done, just need a bit more confidence. You tried a lot to do it properly, and it works. leave it some time to settle, and play it completely relaxed. It will be awesome smile.gif
