A bc rich mockingbird special and replace the neck pickup with a dimebucker and you got the tone you need man

IF money is not an object, I would recommend the best LP you can find. They are great for heavy riffing.

An ibanez custom shop no? Anywho, whatever´s left of the budget, get a good amp, it´s arguably more important than the guitar.

I'd get a Washburn USA custom shop and put in Seymour Duncan Blackouts. I know Washburn sounds like a weird choice but they play AMAZING. You could also put EMG's in or maybe some nice high output Dimarzios like an air norton, etc. Here's a link. Or the Nick Catanese model if you're into signature models (I like this one even tough i think signature model's are LAME)

I love my new LP, but i'm not sure it is a true metal guitar, defo somethin like an Ibanez Jem would be a solid buy.
