Okay guys, ive decided to start a topic discussing everyones favorite the FLYING V. Many different makes and models from the Gibson Flying V to Jacksons King V or even the Dean Razorbacks. Whats your favorite.. what do you like to see in a V. Personally i love V's with sharp edges like the King V by Jackson or the Dean Dave Mustaine Signature. Red or Black and no pickguards.. I've been wanting to buy a V for quiet some time and after I get a new practice amp i might just do it.. any suggestions for me can go in this topic too smile.gif

I love the design for the V but it's to uncomfortable for me to play. sad.gif Sitting down the only way to really play it is between your legs laugh.gif Atleast thats how i had to adapt to it.Dont get me wrong there awesome looking guitar's it's just not for me.If i could choose one to have the Kerry King model would be nice.Did you hear about slayer calling it quits after the next album they make?

I am not a fan of those body shapes. A friend of mine bought a Jackson Flying V and i tried to play it sitting - i just couldn't sit comfortable with it! biggrin.gif

You know some players look cool with it and some don't! Enric Garcia from Dark Moor looks great with that Flying V but i saw dozens of players who look funny with it! biggrin.gif

Esp alexi Laiho signatures, Jackson Rhandy rhodes or the esp Michael Ammot signature are cool V-shaped guitars for over 1000euro.

I like the classic Gibson Flying V. It's just great looking with some vintage in it.

My little girl's fav is the Gibson Hendrix V custom shop. Expensive taste my daughter wink.gif . I'd be more than happy with a Jackson Randy Rhodes if it would sit rather than fall off my knee when I'm sitting down.

Cheers,
Tony

V guitars are my favorite. The first time I tried a v i didn't like it because i tried sitting down in a weird way. But after buying my sg I've tried a few vs and no matter what company it is there all comftourble for me. A v is definitly one of my future guitars.

My favorite Is the King V.

I like the deans but the colours look a little funky and the v headstock doesn't go to well with the body imo.
