None of this is real.
Nothing is what it seems.
And on this day,
I retire from those dreams.

If only there was someone out there.
A friend Ive never had.
That would stay with me forever,
Through the good times and the bad.

This day remains unpleasent.
My feelings now so dim,
I wish I could take back all those things,
That I said to him.

Trying to get back on my feet,
Looking for a helping hand.
Wishing on a new found friend.
Someone to understand.

Saying what I feel,
Things that need to be right.
My feelings now on lockdown.
As that light stops beating bright.

Looking for those answers,
Struggling in my own despair.
As I sit her thinking,
About a long lost friend out there.

We would tell each other stories.
About how we ended up here.
Our company would last forever.
As our minds become so clear.

That friendship would be so pure.
Realer then Yesterday.
If one of us was scared,
We always made it through some way.

That dream has now been ended.
My brittle hands now longer mad.
I hope one day to find,
The friend Ive never had.

Bit obvious for me, simple lyrics. But also very nice and emotional. I had a friend You wrote about, but lost him, dunno if losing isn't even worse than waiting. Still I wish You to find him!

These are the kinds of comments I like. A little bit of constructed critcism goes a long way smile.gif
Im sorry about you friend and I understand your pain. When you said "dunno if losing isnt even worse than waiting" meant alot to me and I can kind of picture what you mean.

Thanks Everyone biggrin.gif :Nick, Bogdan, Timono, and Marek

Very nice lyrics, although that rhyme pattern gets repeated and it sounds similar.
