I have the album already, but listened to it only few times as I have an exam tomorrow and can't learn and listen to good music at the same time. After first few listens I would say that I like it much, but after Bible Black free promotion download, I expected the rest of the songs to be even better... Maybe few more listens and I will start to love this CD...

Yeah, I would say its really solid. Better than anything Ozzy has done in 2 decades. Dio's vocals are still that of apocalyptic impending doom kind of thing. Really awesome album.

Holy crap, it sounds like they haven't lost their edge, despite their ages. I'm glad they the Heaven and Hell lineup got back together, they're the better half of Sabbath imo.

Great album!!! Bought it a few days ago. Iommi is definitely the riff master as mba64 said. I was never a big Dio fan but I know when to admit I'm wrong smile.gif

Great album! Toni's tone is melting my brain since the album that he released with Glenn Hughes. And I got this with Dio singing!! I think it would be one of the best albums of the year

Wow.

Am I the only one let down by this album?

First of all let me say I am a huge Dio and Dio era Sabbath fan.

And the Heaven and Hell DVD from NYC is pure magic.

This album though? Ehhhhh.... There are a few good songs but nothing that is really memorable. Honestly it sounds like the leftovers from a recording session. The collection of songs that didnt make the album. I find it very boring and uninspired. Like the last few Dio albums.

Yeah, the sound quality is amazing. Iommi, Dio, etc.... But they just arent playing anything that I want to listen to.
