Hey guys what are some good metal songs and/or albums. I am in the process of adding music to my Ipod and I wanted some more metal? Any suggestions?

Depends what kind of metal you like. Tell a band that you like and I can tell you other similar bands to check out.

I want to add Opeth - Watershed there.

Any album by them is great but their newest one is Watershed.
Personally I think that they are one of the best bands in the world, while Dream Theater bores me, I have no idea why.

DragonForce are the kings of power metal dude. I'm going to another one of their shows in September, can't wait! Check out Inhuman Rampage for some mind boggling adrenaline. I would also recommend Shogun by Trivium, its a killer album thats got the perfect balance of screaming and singing.

How bout Scream Aim Fire by Bullet for My Valentine? That's a pretty sick album as well. Disturbed's new album Indestructible has some pretty good songs on it, but towards the middle/latter half of the album they all kinda start to sound the same.

What about some melodic death like Scar Symmetry, Arch Enemy, Children Of Bodom, Soilwork?. Those are unbelievable bands. In order of bands, I recommend you these albums: Holographic Universe, Anthems Of Rebellions, Hate Crew Deathroll and Stabbing the Drama
