Hey Muris, I was wondering if you could tell me how I go about choosing arpeggios (using the basic major and minor shapes that Pavel teaches in his arpeggio lessons) that will fit over power chords. I would really like to know if there is some kind of system so that I can start including them into solos rolleyes.gif

Thanks biggrin.gif

Hey all, I'm about to buy a new guitar and I'm starting to narrow down my options. I've heard great things about the Ibanez RG1570's and RG2550E's, so I'm wondering what others would do in my position. The only real complaints I've heard about the RG1570's involve the pickups. I myself do not know a whole lot about pickups, but from what I've read, most people decide to put DiMarzio Evolutions into their 1570's. My question is this: would it be smarter to buy a 1570 with additional pickups (which I am incapable - at this point - of installing), or just go with the 2550E and its stock pickups for about $150 more?

2500E - http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eg_page.p...&COLOR=CL01
neck pu DiMarzio® IBZ-N (H) neck pu
middle pu DiMarzio® IBZ-S (S) mid pu
bridge pu DiMarzio® IBZ-B (H) bridge pu

neck pu V7 (H) neck pu
middle pu S1 (S) mid pu
bridge pu V8 (H) bridge pu

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated biggrin.gif

Hey all, just had a question that I was hoping could be answered by all the experts in here. The first guitar I ever bought was a BC Rich Warlock (Platinum Series), and unfortunately I bought it for the look rather than the sound. I was wondering if it would be worth it to replace the pickups, and if so, what type of pickups I should put in. I don't think I could sell the guitar because of the sentimental value, but I rarely play it because it sounds so terrible (not just because of my playing tongue.gif ). Any help is greatly appreciated biggrin.gif
