Is this thread still on? I'd like to request a lesson in style of CKY (Camp Kill Yourself). Their style is very distinct and heavy but I love their songs, esp. from Volume 1 and Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild.

The only thing I know is that they use one of the Marshalls and an octaver. Riffs are hard to follow for me but they sound so badass.

Also, at CKY's YT channel Deron shows how the riffs are played. Link: https://www.youtube.com/user/campkillyourshelf/videos

There is a name I haven't heard of in ages! When I think of CKY, I think of Bam Margera and crazy people on skateboards and other random acts of insanity and sickness that later spawned the show "Jackass". My first taste was CKY2K which I have around here somewhere on video tape. I had no idea they were still making music. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

This is how I discovered them. Viva la Bam and Tony Hawk's 3 game, then Jackass. I was too young and didn't have the Internet back then but now I do. About 2 years ago I found my old DVD with Viva la Bam and did some research on CKY band only to discover they do awesome music.

I'm happy you remembered good old days biggrin.gif

I'm not sure if there are already a lesson like this, but I mostly remember Dream Theater lessons in the style of their newer albums. I would like to see some Images and Words era lesson smile.gif

I also noticed there's no Roxette lesson! If that's ok, I'd like to request for one smile.gif
