hey guys ...well in my current band we are without ..speakers for the voice and we are thinking on buying a new ones at less 2...and we don't want to spend more than 250 euros per speaker :X what do you guys recommend?
If your goal is to buy them for rehearsals and small gigs you can look at some Behringer or Mackie speakers.
If you want active speakers, you'll also need a mixer but I guess you already know this For passive speakers you need also a power-amp or a mixer that can do this job.
Well, some small bars doesn't have a resident PA so it's always a good choice to have a set of speakers. In this way, you can play also on some places where usually there aren't live shows.. until they have the permission to do this
You can get very small, portable, vocal pa systems that pack up to a single carry case unit. Macking and Behringer both make this type of model. That way you have a full pa in case you need it in a small place without needing to carry a big pa, and you have good vocal amplification for your researsal space. Here is one that is quite reasonably priced and very portable. About $250
