GMC Forum _ Introduce Yourself ! _ Hey Guys

Posted by: jhowell2 Feb 21 2008, 04:24 PM

hey fellas, my name is james and im new to GMC but not the guitar. Ive taken lessons for about 2 years and just played with what I learned when time came for me to go to college. I know my minor pentatonics, which i use often, and i am familiar with the aeolian scale but i still have trouble incorporating it into my solos. I now feel the need to expand my musical knowledge and I hope this site will teach me not only to shred (which I am most interested in) but a little theory and understanding of how and why the music works the way it does. see you guys later.

ohhh, i am also totally digging the classical section since i have a soft spot for it.
