GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Protone Pedal Full Circle

Posted by: Todd Simpson Oct 24 2013, 10:13 PM

Ahh the Circle of Life smile.gif I bought a spiff little overdrive pedal off ebay called the PROTONE SPITFIRE and it was my first introduction to protone pedals which I've come to like a bunch. So I bought a new pedal from them directly and resold the first one back on ebay and guess who bought it? THe guy who runs ProTone smile.gif The pedal has been out of production for 5 years so it's a historical piece in a sense smile.gif He bought it and just posted some nostalgia pics on Facebook. It's not quite the lion king, but the Circle of Life applies to gear as well smile.gif It's found it's way home.

Hahha how cool is that?

I have always wondered where my music gear went and who played, where and what on the guitars/basses I sold.
It would be really cool to know where the gear goes.

I agree smile.gif I'd love to see where my early guitars ended up! I'd like to put little RFID tags in my guitars for security and maybe for long term tracking smile.gif Although, If I bought a guitar and found a tracker in it, I would think it was odd. hmm.

Ha! Amazing story biggrin.gif I was happy to find out that my Epiphone Les Paul Special Edition ended up in the hands of an old acquaintance - the guitarist in a Romanian post hardcore band called 'Perfect Zero for Infinity'
