Ok so here's the scenario: you're sitting in a cafe and in walks Mr. Clapton. He's got some time to kill before his next flight takes off and just wants to get some of the local vide first. First, before we divulge any more, check out Laszlo's new lesson, "Eric Clapton Influences", and then post a reply to today's topic.

He approaches your table because you look like a guys who knows how to rock. He says "Hey, I've got a couple of accoustic axes outside if you wanna join me for a little jam session. Care too?" What do you say? What do you play?

I'd say; scram bugger
Then we could build my fame as the band who turned Clapton down. cool.gif

But really, I'm not that strar struck kind of guy but I'd be polite so I'd say thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing. Thanks for all the joy they're bringing. Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty. What would life be? Without a song or a dance what are we? So I say thank you for the music. For giving it to me.

Bit like Micke but I´d get my daughter and her coro to sing it as it´s part of their set list. So Mr Clapton,

Quiero dar las gracias, a las canciones que transmiten emociones. Quiero dar las gracias, por lo que me hacen sentir.
Debo admitir que con la musica vale vivir, por eso quiero dar las gracias, por este don en mi.

Thank you for Layla's main riff! It would be cool to join him also with the acoustic version of this song. I had some cool memories of the unplugged years.
