I haven't seen any of them around on the pages, besides the Jimi Hendrix ones. And those are really great, but it would be nice to get a broader view of the style.

Simple Recording ?

Hello all GMC friends!

I've just got my first electric guitar, after playing acoustic for a year and a half, so i though i'd try recording some leads n riffs. I have a Vox AC30VT and i think i heard somewhere that it has preamp build in (I don't know much about amps, correct me if i'm wrong), and that it was possible to just plug it in to my soundcard and record through a some program?

I'm also looking for at relativly easy to use rocording program?

Brian May Sound

Hello GMC!

I've always loved the sound of brian may, but i've never been able to gain the same sound.
I don't if it is his playing style or what it is? especially the licks in "We are the champions", "Killer Queen" and "We wil rock you"

I've got an Vox Valvetronix XL AD15VT2 amp, and i think ive heard somewhere he's playing on Vox amp?

Any of you crazy guitarist here on GMC who might know how the get that sound?!

I was wondering if any of you instructors could create a lesson in style of Jimmy page?
He's one of my favorite guitar players and i haven't found any yet, there was one but thats combined with Slash style and licks. and not so many Jimmy page licks and stuff, i think.


btw, i really love this site, and thanks for all the fantastic lessons!
