Solo Idea For New Song I've Been Working On

The parts are cool by themselves an the next thing to o is to make the transition between parts smoother. This can be done with some connection licks but will also improved with more backing track work: drum fills, bass / rhythm guitar arrangements, etc. That's the first thing that come to mind when I first hear the solo. In this case Your tuning needs more attention. Always make sure to stretch strings well enough beofre recording. Also it's worth trying to tune Your guitar to exactly the same playing strength You will use while recording. Try to recheck You tuning on frets. Guitars are not "0" cents everywhere instruments. Think about nice water spots in the desert which need to be connected - the water must flow So, invent passing licks which connect the big phrases. I don't know if we spoke about this, but Richie Kotzen was saying that he sees faster licks as a means to get somewhere - in our case tying up the big phrases together Let's see a broader context with the new strings on!
