Beautiful shot, Ak! I wish I had mountains in my "backyard" like that. Highest points in Denmark is about 500 feet above sea level smile.gif

This is one of them, not my shot though:

Thanks Ben. You may not have mountains but the terrain is beautiful nevertheless.

Thanks!

I was riding my bicycle around today just before nightfall, and unfortunately I didn't carry my DSLR camera, so the pictures aren't all that great. I might go back another day.

More nice and interesting shots, Ben. Looking at the shot of the creek bed. Those numerous big leaf plants look similar to some plants we have here in AK in the same types of areas, along creeks and also on lower parts of mountain terrain where there is dense foliage. We call them "Devil's Clubs" and the stalks and leaves are extremely thorny and not much fun to trudge through. Are those thorny as well?

I think they're just "Petasites hybridus" that haven't blossomed yet. I don't recall them as having thorns smile.gif

Ah ok. I was thinking they were probably something other than the Devil's club but looked very similar so I figured I would ask. Thanks! You would know if they were if you ever walked through a patch of them. Yeow! blink.gif
