Ahh so anyways.. feel free to delete this thread or whatever, feel free to blam me not care whatever, im just major pissed at some preppy girl and need to get it off my chest haha 
Hopefully this topic will run amuck into some random conversation like many topics do . So basically my problem is some girl is trying to tell me that shes so gorgious she can get any guy she wants. and that im too ugly to be shallow and all this crap meanwhile im try to refrain myself from telling her how shallow she is for saying this stuff and whatever. trying to make her realise shes not really insulting me by calling me ugly.. ( she is talking to someone who is voluntarily growing their hair out just to headbang. just the whole idea of preppy girls trying to tell me i mean nothing because i care about personality and don't care that no girls are turning there heads at me. well theres my ramble.. its more complex than that 
most of life is.. but at least ull get my drift and maybe someone else will have something little to add.

Whats even worse. Is when dudes are like that. They think there the best in the world. And there hot stuff, but really all in all. There nothing!!

She sounds retarded and sounds like she's gonna live a miserable rest of her life if she keeps that up. It's not a bad thing to tell her what you think, If you think it's really not worth it then don't say anything, but I would say something to her while staying true to your personality.

plus man you can have both looks and personality. Start working out or something if you aren't already, that kinda stuff helps me. I don't know much about you, hardly anything, but thats what I'm doin and it seems to lift confidence. Good luck man

Indeed. We got tons of people like that here. They run around in gangs and beat up helpless little people. And they are so pathetic that they are screwing around with 14 year old girls and stuff, and they're like 18-30.
People are crazy nowdays.

Haha indeed. Thats sooooo typical here in this town. Except that here its more like 12-13 year olds being with 20-30 year olds. And no, I'm not exaggerating. Seen and heard that happened several times.

Well - that's a cool topic! I have a story on my own here....don't know if i should even bother typing it...
OK - here it is!
When i was in high school i met a cool blond girl, she was in my class . At that time i was too shy to just start talking to girls so i just let it be like that although i noticed she does like me.
Well - 4 years passed. University time had come and we met again at the same university so we are now studying together. In last 2 years i met a couple of awesome guys that totally changed my character - and i like it better the way i am now.
A few months ago i got totally hit - "damn, i gotta be with her!". I am always paying her drinks if she comes to same bar where i am with my buddies, i am helping her TONS with university, did loads of homework for her - Java programming, class translations, did some stupid programs for her so she could pass the exam....eventually i told her i really like her and she was like: "Oh, ok..." and just moved on. I was like: "WTF?"
A couple of days ago i talked to her and we were just chatting and she told me: "Hey you know, yesterday i was on the beach with one guy..." - that guy studies at the same university and he is TOTAL moron and 95% of people hate him, he want to be with 10 girls at the same time BUT girls are still interested in him! UNBELIEVABLE! He's a moron, he never pays girls a drink like he SHOULD, he spends his all money on casino, every time he tried to help her with some homework it was a MESS-UP and guess who was fixing that?? ME!!
And than she tells me: "We were on a beach like 15 times now...."
Her birthday is on 31. of July and i was thinking of buying her some fancy present but now - I DON'T CARE!!! I mean she doesn't give a damn about whatever i do...
So - I am back to guitar, GMC, practicing and enjoying my life as it was before i started thinking of her! And you know what?? It works so well!!!!
I guess i'll have find some guitar-playing girl to have real life

I recognize some of that in your story actually. Now I'm just practicing my ass off on guitar and making songs for my one man band, some day maybe I meet someone with the same music taste and stuff like me.

I think I have something to contribute to this interestiing thread.
First of all, I would like to say that what everyone is saying is correct, you see it all the time: Hot girls with moronic guys who probably have trouble spelling their own name, and the thing is sometimes the girls with these under-evloved cavemen are intelligent and have a great personality, and it makes you wonder: How the hell do these moronic jocks get the "grade-A" girls?
Anyway, I have a theory, have no clue if I'm right or wrong (and it might get me in trouble with GMC's female members 
) but here it is:
I think girls go for simpletons for evolutionary reasons. I think the female mind evolved to instinctualy seek out a partner with whom they have a high probability of reproducing with. That is to say that it is more likely that a caveman-type guy will have spontaneous, irresponsible sex with them than a guy who is more refined; thus leading to a greater chance of reproduction.
Now, I doubt that the girls in question consciously think about what I said above, but rather that their actions are driven by embedded instincts that have taken many millions of years to evolve.
So, that's my take on it, it actually kind of helps me understand why some seemingly cool girls go for the types of guys discussed above, and when I do see it happening, I just think to myself: It's evolution!

Disclaimer: In no way do I think that ALL girls are like the ones we are discussing here, I know there are some girls out there who want a nice, intelligent guy. I just presented my view on the useless girls that give all the decent ones a bad name.

Very Good Thread. Ik this would evolve into a Boy meets girl , Girl likes boy, Girl leaves boy for other Jerk type of thread. Depressing story Pavel, might I add that if you really liked her, you shouldnt have given up that easily.
Lets face it guys. If we wanted to all be cold hard assholes and get as many girls as we wanted , we could.
Yet we sit here, with are Guitars gently weeping waiting for someone else in the forum to lift are spirits.
Take my story for example. In are school this year we had are 8th grade social ( The equivalent to a prom or snowball except it was for the 8th grade. ) The girl I was going out with , making out with , hugging and kissing blah blah blah finds it cute to take her friend to snowball instead of me. And I asked before him and she said it was a yes ! Wtf ? Day after the dance she acts like everything is normal , blah blah blah. Point here ? I got robbed ! So even if there is a girl you like and she has a boy friend , play the best friend part and maybe youll catch a break.
This taught me something though guys. Anyone who is anything has a chance with a person you may be " involved with. "

yea, that sucks Pavel. I dont understand girls, they always go for guys that in the end dont give a damn about them while YOU are dying for her and you wish you could give her everything, the moon, the sky.... but they dont want it
. And it pisses me off so much!! 
This has happened so much to me, that i really dont care anymore, i found my guitar. And something with a girl fails, i still will have my guitar with me.I wish i could find a guitar-girl, that would be the best thing ever..but thats as hard as not hating emos. (No offence to emos)

You know when you meet the right girl for yourself the relation just builds easier as both sides have feelings for each other and they both want to communicate, go out, talk to each other...
I learned that - hunting down the girl you like is not the best solution.

Alright guys. Im gonna let you in on some things about girls.
1. Girls dont like push-overs (Thats why they go for jocks)
2. They like cocky/funny guys (Make them laugh a lot)
3. They seem like the want to take control, but DONT LET THEM. Always be in control
4. Dont get them everything they want.
5. Give them a challenge Play hard to get.
6. Tease them a bit. Not being mean "tease" though. A playful teasing!!
7. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ONE. Be unpredictable. Like Pavel you said you were really nice to her. Bought her drinks, and did her homework for her all the time and everything. That made you very predictable. And put her more in control than you.
So to sum it up. Give them a challenge. Make them laugh alot. Stay in control. Have confidence. Dont be afraid to Ex: Strip naked in front of her, or whatever the situation is. Be very very very confident of yourself, and ability, but not to the point of your ego becoming bigger than you!!
Thats the 'just' of it. I could go into many details. To where you could become your own little town player, and have girls loving you. If you want more details, or have any questions about some of those things, or why girls do things like pick bad guys over good guys. Ill tell you why. Just ask!!!

Well the part with laughing may be a problem as i am not a moron who laughs for no reason, you know... I laugh a lot with my buddies because we all split some crazy jokes and we understand each other so we make jokes on each other's account and just make funny situations but girls... i'm not gonna dance in front of her to make her laugh. I hope you know what i mean!

The more guys crack onto them, the less they will be impressed with them.......she will want someone different and refreshing - thats where you step in...........

Well, I too have a story. It's long, but I want to get this off my chest, and maybe someone can relate. For this one I'll put up some pics (which have been notably missing from this thread.)
A little more than a year ago I started dating this girl.
I had known her for a long time -since high school in fact- but we never got to really know each other well, we just had some of the same friends. Every once in a while over the years since high school, I would see her right up by the stage watching some of my shows and other times when I went to see me friend's band play.
One day, I saw her at a local strip club where a lot of local musicians go to hang out. I bought her a drink, but she seemed really nervous and we didn't talk much. Soon after that day, my last band split up and I didn't see her for about another year.
-Then one day I ran into her totally by chance at the local mall. She worked there as a security guard lol! We started talking and then she says the magic words -"So I play the guitar too you know. We should jam sometime. How about on Thursday?" I was floored! Who the hell could say no to that?
So she came out to my house and pulls out her gothic SG. We played for hours, and she was actually quite good. It was an awesome experience for both of us. Doing those Iron Maiden harmonies had never been cooler! Afterwards we talked more and she said that she had liked me for along time. The conversation got more romantic from there, more alcohol was brought out, and eventually, one thing led to another and you know the rest.
The relationship was almost perfect for a year. I was seriously thinking about the last thing I thought I'd ever do- marriage. -But the problems just grew too big eventually. She moved to an apartment closer to me and left her security job. After that, she started working at the same strip club I mentioned before. I didn't have a problem with it really, but it finally started to get to me that her best customers were also some of my best friends . Eventually she met some guy there who was a COMPLETE loser (no job no school etc.), and eventually we broke up for some really petty reasons, but I think he was the real reason she did it. Plus, I found out that my friends had been stabbing me in the back by telling her bad stuff about me that wasn't true at the strip club since they were trying to get in her pants . 4 Months later, she was married.
It was great while it lasted though, and we had so many great memories together. I'll probably never meet another girl like her. A girlfriend that plays the guitar is just about the greatest thing ever. No one else can put up with all the hours of practice with a smile and love you for it.

Thats a very interesting story man, im so sorry. Its so damn hard to find a guitar-girl and then its all gone. But keep the hopes up, someday we'll get a guitar-girl that hopefully will last for the rest of our lives!

I didn't think pictures of a girl in a bikini top holding a guitar would offend anyone, but I understand they want to play it safe here, and that's totally understandable. The only reason I'm even saying this is becuase I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about what the content of those pictures actually was. There was absolutely no nudity or anything like that.

Haha, well I'm glad you liked the pics .Another interesting fact about that girl is that she taught me how to play fingerstyle since that's she learned classical first. Up until then, I never knew how to play without a pick. If you look close at your "backup" copy of the pics, Pavel, maybe you can see how her right hand fingernails are long and pointed for classical playing. She's also the only girl I've ever met in person that could sweep-pick. In fact, she was my main motivation for working harder at sweeping just to make sure she couldn't beat me
. She had a hard time with some sweeping arpeggios though especially pentatonic beacuse her hands were too small for the big stretches.

Ok, let's have an update here:
Remember my story? Well, as now we have exams at university the activity on university forum is higher than usual. The girl i was talking you about had an accounting exam - every time i wished her luck - she failed it!
This time some other people where asking questions like: "What are the question teacher asks the most? Is it difficult?". i passed that exam a while ago and i remember it was the toughest one for me. So i told the truth! I said: "It's difficult as hell, you must really learn it all and don't skip anything!".
Imagine this - the girl from my first story contacts me on ICQ and sais like: "What is wrong with you? You are killing people's will to study, they will be afraid bla bla bla". Than i told her: "Each time i wished you luck you failed - i guess this time everybody will pass it because that's the truth about that exam!". The answer was: "Very funny! I could expect it from you!" (now i was like: "What was that supposed to mean?")
Guess what???? THEY ALL PASSED!!!!! And she is still pissed about it!!!!
The second later she asked me for a material for the next exam!
After i sent it to her and sent her my congratulations on the success she almost called me a moron!
That's her gratitude for all the help she got from me for all her previous homeworks, exam materials and other stuff... I'm not talking to her anymore!!

Yeah man you ARE 100% right, but when you likes somebody you want to believe she's not what she actually is! And you even forgive her all the bad things she do to you, but now i really don't care any more!!
