Producing, - just a thought

Hey Andrew- i had a bit of a lightbulb for a little cool lesson regarding production.

Could you record a small song segment or a solo over a backing that just plain doesnt sound right> production-wise.

Then you could maybe take us through step by step (either explaining the affects of doing what you did or letting us hear each stage as you go) and take us to the end result professional quality sounding mix.

Screenshots etc would be another cool thing to throw in.

I think i'd benefit from this as im new to recording (and especially producing) and i'm sure there are others in a similar position.

Would anybody else benefit from an idea similar/ along these lines?
