Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Cm Fingerpicking by Muris Varajic

This was a great way to practice some new chords. Reversing the picking pattern like Muris did here forces you to practice grabbing the chords two ways: first from the low strings up, then from the high strings down. Ultimately though your hands get comfortable enough to grab all the strings at same time.

Excellent take James. This looks like a difficult piece for sure wink.gif

There were a couple of tiny slip ups where some notes didn't sound 100% but your technique itself was perfect.. glad to have you back in the REC Zone cool.gif

Hey James! biggrin.gif you nailed this almost perfectly - there are some notes who weren't being fingered precisely, so the tone was not full in those spots, but otherwise, great take for a difficult lesson, my friend! Congrats again smile.gif

Hey mate!! Good job!! This is a very tricky lesson for the reasons that you said in the introduction and you played it very good. There are some notes that sound muted or doesn't sound but the overall is really good. smile.gif
