GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Mac Vs Windows

This might have been discussed before, but I recently switched over to Mac OS, I was given a iMac as a wedding present and I'm finding it amazing to work with both at home and in the studio.

What are you guys using?

PC. For many years our hardware and daw (sadie) needed to run on a pc so it was a legacy decision.
As it stands there is no reason for me to switch to mac as a pc is fine for our needs. Our daw is happy on a pc and for mastering our processing is hardware/out the box so we use very little software.

I use both, but a lot of my go to plugins are Windows-only VSTs, so I usually end up in Windows.

I use PC. I am very attracted by Mac's world but I'm scared too... I'm so comfortable with Windows and all the software. Let's see what happens in the future...

I'm a Mac guy But I"ve used both. These days you can go either way and still get great results. Try to get a copy of LOGIC if possible. It's pretty spiff and at $300 it's affordable compared to some others and has 5 DVDs worth of stuff. Sounds, instruments etc.
