... To be honest I couldn't be sure of the reason but I'd focus on the bridge PU first. Try height-change maybe for self test but its better a luthier check it. |

I agree with JSTCRSN.
I'm 95% sure that it's the low E and probably even the low A string's harmonics ringing out. I can even hear it on the neck pickup though slightly. Mute your low E with the palm of your hand and try it. Or put a hair tie/scrunchy around the neck and over the strings behind your fretting hand. -------------------- - Ken Lasaine

Maybe it appears more with that pick up because it has more gain, or more high frequencies. Try these ideas and let us know Victor! -------------------- My lessons

Definitely the first thing to try next is muting all the strings with a hair band or even slide a rag underneath them so that when you strum them not fretting anything, all they just thud. Then play exactly what you've just played. This will tell us a lot.
