GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Songs To Play For/score Chicks
Posted by: Yash Jul 26 2012, 09:00 PM
Hey guys, while chatting with Christian (Gitarrero) and Maxime (Pourliver) a lot of randomness, we came upon the idea of making a list of songs to play for or to score chicks. Here's what all I remember
- Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends - Green Day - Time Of My Life - Green Day - 21 Guns - Green Day - Wonderwall - Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger - Oasis - Drive - Incubus (thanks Cosmin) - Nothing Else Matters - Metallica - Tears Don't fall (Acoustic) - Bullet For My Valentine - Say Goodnight (Acoustic) - Bullet For My Valentine - All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me) (Acoustic) - Bullet For My Valentine
Put in your input guys
This is gonna be the reference for all the guys

Tears Don't Fall acoustic is a good one.
She is Love- Parachute My Beautiful Rescue- This Providence
Posted by: Gitarrero Jul 26 2012, 09:39 PM
Here's a bunch that is also nice. Some are not too well known and played out. The one by the Beatsteaks is a good way to please german rock chicks
Posted by: Yash Jul 26 2012, 09:57 PM
Keep 'em comin

If you're looking for the ultimate pantie buster, no other song can top this. Good luck pulling it off in key though

Man I wish I could sing like that I must admit though, after taping things up for one of our shows, I could never cross my legs like that

My last girlfriend who really didnt know all that much about metal asked me to play to a song....
So I thought of a song that would almost inspire fear in her and played this:

Dead or alive -Bon Jovi talk dirty to me - Poison

Any of Morbid Angel's seductive ballads will do the job.

Yes, these work pretty well!
If some of you happen to end up in a spanish class, this song might be worth playing...
And for our youngsters, it seems like a lot of teenage chicks like this band here:
And two personal favourites of mine:

Ha, I once tried to score with that one. "Tried" But at least I was invited for dinner, and scoring a lasagne dinner isn't that bad at all
Edit: Just realized all these scoring videos are black and white, is that a coincidense?

Whats going on here?????? Just ask ME, I'm a girl! Ok, first of all, girls think that bassists are the most soulfull. BUT, guitarists and drummers are very cool! Vocalists are only cool when they can sing really good! So pay attention!!!! Boys, don't worry! Girls generally like musicians! They are always HOT! So it really doesn't matter what song you play!
Was that helpfull??

Haha, I was waiting for you to post something here I heard that girls think that bassists are soulfull, which is right, I'd say And it's true Yash, girls (at least the good ones) dig musicians
I think it was very helpfull for Yash I've got so many years of experience playing for chicks already but it's always good to hear a girl's opinion on this stuff

He should definately shut up and play guitar only. Exception: the girl is in love already, then she wouldn't recognize.. Then he should spend her 'being in love'-time to practice his singing before she gets back her clear mind..

haha, we shoudl consider that Yash will most likely date teenagers. They are easy to impress

I must be doing something wrong then, because every time I play my girl walks in and tells me to shut up Do you have to keep playing the same thing over and over ( it's called practice) and stop playing when I'm talking are two of her favourite ones.

I must admit I like this acoustic stuff myself and found myself so often in these "oh you play guitar? play something!" situations. And the people always wanna hear acoustic songs. So I got bored playing the same 5 songs over and over. As Jessi said, it doesn't really matter what songs you play for a chick, as long as it has a nice melody
What concerns me is that I seem to be the only person posting tons of songs here
Doesn't The Reckoning have a nice acoustic ballad???

I always thought there was some Higgins in Mr. Blunt's songs... So that it is why you live in a manor in the countryside...you're rich because you write pop ballads and sell them to young singers. Brilliant idea Ben, really brilliant!

We better call girls "different" or "special on their own way". They tend to change their mind a lot and it takes a lot of time to really understand what is going on if something is bad. Though I love my girlfriend <3
Note : If my relationship will break up I will deny that I ever loved her and call her a b**** for leaving me as usual.

Ok, so I've got a lot of messages asking if the Hef had retired...
of course not! So let's bump this thread and reach 100 songs!
The Weakerthans and Halestorm both have fantastic songs, so you might wanna check these out and play them for the girl of your dreams.
(The girl of my dreams first smiled when I played them to her on the streets, but then put a restrainign order on me...shame on you, ScarJo!)
