Hola Gabriel,

have you planned to do a lesson based on the cirse's song "lo que no soy" ? This song is really good, and it's also very good to hear cirse playing in accoustic...

Hi guys,

i would like to have your point of view on my first try on this lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/My-Che...e-Ballad-Style/ by gabriel leopardi.

I have to record once again the very last part of the solo, but it's a technique i do not really manage to do so any advice would be appreciated.

here is the link:

THE LAST VERSION WITH VOCALS IS HERE: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7084686/songs/Supe...e_Loup_voix.mp3
-------------

Hi,

i'm working on another cover of a french band song called "le loup" by "superbus", it's a simple song with two verses and a chorus without vocals. I haven't recorded the vocals yet, but i recorded all the intruments.

It contains for guitars:
- a clean guitar and a distorted one during verse, one on each channel
- 3 distorted guitars during the chorus, one left, one right and a stereo
- ans another guitar during the last part of the last chorus

i have a bass, a piano, a violin, and drums.

What do you think of it ? There's not many variations so it will sound better with the vocals.

Here is the track in MP3: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7084686/songs/Superbus_-_Le_Loup.mp3

It's been recorded with reaper 4 alpha, with my gibson les paul studio and my fender gdec 3 amp.

Thanks to share your comments and advices to help me improve the track.

Hi Guys,

a few days ago i posted a rec i did: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=38269 and i have been given many advices (Ivan, Tony Miro etc...) and i decided to apply these advices in a new rec.

This time i haven't recorded yet the vocals, but i prefer before to have your points of view.

here is my take: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7084686/songs/tchi_cum_bah.mp3

i recorded:
- the bass (stereo)
- 3 guitars (one for main riff and left, one for right riff, one distorded on two tracks left and right)
- drums: ezdrummer

No vst for effects, the effects all come from my Fender GDEC 3 amp.
The guitar is a Gibson Les paul Studio.

I put an equalizer and a compressor on the main channel.

Recorded with REAPER 4 alpha.

Please let me know what to improve before vocals recording.

Th original song is here:

Thanks in advance guys!

and i checked very well to be sure to never have a track "in the red" as tony miro told me! biggrin.gif

EDIT: the chorus is a bit loud, as in the original song, be carefull !
