Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Now I've started using Reaper with Amplitube. On this I've chosen the German Gain amp. I've tried with palm muting and some extra notes.

That was excellent. Your string bending was well controlled.

Your timing was good as well.. you rushed a little bit during the tapping section so that's why it's gonna be a solid 9 !! cool.gif

Hi mate! Congrats on this take! It's great to see you experimenting with Amplitube and Reaper. The sound of your video is now clearer and now you just have to see what's generating that line noise when your are not playing. At first, I wonder if you tried using a noise gate on amplitube. It's not the best solution but it can make it more usable by now. As you said that your cable isn't the problem and neither your guitar, the only thing that can be doing this is your soundcard. So check out the options that I gave you via PM and let me know if you can afford one of them.

About your playing, as Ben said, it's a very solid take. Your vibrato and bending are very good and your timing so precise. There only parts that still need some work are the sweep picking and the tapping. Both section has very little timing issues and I notice that the notes can sound clearer. So isolate these sections, work on them and consider learning some lessons specifically based on both techniques.

Ok mate, you are doing a great job at GMC, keep on rocking.

Hey there amigo!

As the guys said, this is a solid take and aside from the little timing issues, there's nothing much I can comment on. So, instead I will recommend a little lesson selection, based on the two techniques you could work on, to improve your skills and timing as well wink.gif

Tapping:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/van-ha...style-beginner/
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Basic-Tapping/

Sweeping:

Please let me know which one of these you like better and we can start discussing them together smile.gif

All the best and keep rocking!

Cosmin
