I prefer Morley Bad Horsie 1 or 2,
specially great for live since it's optical
and has no ON/OFF switch, just step on it. smile.gif

Crybaby all the way (the higher end models) or a Vox Wah

I like the Zakk Wylde wah but the Dimebag and Van halen Wah are also great (high gain wahs)

im going to disagree with the cry baby....i prefer the vox wah, or the wheeping demon...i feel like they are much better, you can control them a little more, and i like the sound better

but thats just me!

It may not have the best sound, but because of the possibilites and price I can highly recommand the Ibanez Weeping Demon. You can choose if you want it to be step-sensitive (turns on when you step on it) or turn off/on with a stompknob at the side (dont misunderstand, it`s very accesible). You can also set the EQ as you want, you can change the frequency to fit with a bassguitar, you can choose how long it takes before the wah disengages after using the "step-sensitive" mode when releasing it (it has a spring which automaticly brings it back)

All in general, you`get very much for your money. I can agree that it doesnt sound as good as the competitors like Crybabies signature models, but at the other hand they cost 3 times as much which I don`t think they`re worth. After all you`re out for the wah sound, not necesseraly a nice sound smile.gif ....even though some real low ends pedal like Behringer etc might sound as...yeah...not point writing it since foul language is edited anyways biggrin.gif

Well you can try but I wouldn't do that
cause pedals are under pressure all the time
and you never know what's coming your way.

yeah, Muris is right, it is best to get a new pedal. If you really don't have the option of getting a new one, at least try to buy the wah from a 100% reliable ebay online shop, NOT private seller.

Hmm I don't know , because this can be a gamble as with everything on ebay! Generally its ok to buy second hand pedals as they are sturdy and built well and generally hard to break. But on ebay you never know what you gonna get. Also with ebay , pay attention to exactly what pedal you are buying , there are older versions of the same pedals that work on different power ratings for example and things like that...
