In my experience strings are the hardest to get! The reason why is because you use them a lot it's not like a amplifier or guitar that you will have for a long time strings they will have to send you all the time and it's a very expensive endorsement for the company

I've am involved in discussions regarding an endorsement deal with PRS guitars and I'm currently working with the official dealer in Romania for a presentation movie of the PRS SE Mike Mushok baritone guitar. I filmed it and now I am making up a nice video which shall be posted on the official youtube channel of the dealer.

If everything goes right, I'll make some more and slowly build up this whole idea towards the contract. It's a lot more difficult than with Ibanez for instance.

The PRS dealer is also working with Ibanez and with them, it's a lot easier to get an endorsement deal. They ask the dealer for artists who are interested in such a thing and they have contracts for 2-3 people in each country where they have dealers.

With PRS, things are a bit different - I have to prove myself worthy of such a thing, as Alex said smile.gif hope it's gonna be ok!

Man if you have a chance to get PRS deal! Get it! I love those guitars! They are so freaking good!!!!!

Hi Alex, this is a really interesting subject and something I will look into in the future myself. My guitar is custom built so I can't endorse any make of guitar as such so I hope that Marshall will one day let me do the honour of endorsing the JVM ! wink.gif

Yeah, its gonna be great. If you ever have a signature JVM, I'll buy it, provided its better than the original tongue.gif biggrin.gif, kidding.

Hey Ben, if you ever want to sell that head, you know who to contact. wink.gif smile.gif biggrin.gif

Great topic and great tips! Developing a following of any kind, live, social media, etc. can be leveraged to show vendors you are serious and can generate interest in their product. Alex makes a great point, don't approach folks unless you like their gear!
