Hey GMC
I just found a cool article in my new Guitar World.This seems like it would be fun and if you make the best design they may even build the guitar and give it to you for free!!Peavey has a online custom shop were you can design your own guitar from scratch and even upload jpeg pics to customize on your guitar.Go online to guitarworld to get more info on the contest and go to www.peaveycustomshop.com to see how well you can design a guitar! biggrin.gif

$2200? Mine was $3600 sad.gif

I suddenly had a desire to record something lovely, so here it is.. whether lovely or not;

Attached File  lame.mp3 ( 1MB ) Number of downloads: 608

And I struggled, the sound levels are bad, and it is probably not in same key. My tuning is DADGAD and I aint quite used to it. tongue.gif

The one I created was about the same price, Carved top; with mahogany and quilted maple top, I went for the transparent paint red/black and then I put a black burst on it and used black hardware with Rosewood and mother of pearl.

My problem is that I can buy a Gibson Standard for $2500.00 or less and a Studio for a lot less. I have it narrowed down between those two or the Ibanez 2550e or the Jem. When I go shopping I hope where I go has all 4 models in stock so i can try them out and see which one calls me "Daddy" laugh.gif .

Although by the sounds of it custom guitars are abit cheaper than I thought... maybe I could go away and pick apples for another season and get myself a nice custom guitar lol
